Would you like to be a better biker? Are you participating in the Dempsey Challenge, Women’s Heart Ride or participating in a triathlon relay as the bike leg? Then come join in the fun and meet lots of other women at the same time!
We will provide you with a weekly group work out and receive a weekly / monthly work out for you to do on your own. Our meeting places will vary, and so will our rides. We will focus on riding safety, proper bike technique, and have great workouts like hill climbs, or endurance rides.

BIKE: Combination of WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY – 6 pm/ and SATURDAY 8 am– We bike train on Wednesday & Thursday and some Saturday’s. (see below for dates) Meeting places will change weekly for variable scenery and terrain. 1st BIKE PROGRAM STARTS, SATURDAY, MAY 6
Bike training dates are as follows:
- MAY ~ Sat 6, Sat 13, Sat 20, Wed 24, Wed 31. (please note these last two dates are Wednesdays)
- JUNE ~Sat 10, Thur 15, Sat 24
- JULY ~ Sat 1, Thur 6, Sat 15, Thur 20
SWIM & BIKE TRAINING: (Session 3 Swim Group Only). THIS SESSION IS FULL! THANKS FOR SUPPORTING SHEJAMS!
SWIM: First 5 weeks in the pool – Choice of Westbrook – Thursday’s 5:30 pm. or Cumberland – Sunday 4 pm TECHNIQUE 5 pm MASTERS. Then we move to open water at Crystal Lake & the Tri for a Cure Swim start on Mondays from 6 – 7 pm.
