This is a 16 week program starting the week of April 26 until race day, August 15th!
GROUP BIKE
DAY: Every Saturday Morning
TIME: TBD
PLACE: TBD – Will Vary
The first Bike Training will be Saturday, May 1st, 8am. Meet at the parking lot above the tennis courts next to the high school on Highland Ave. in South Portland. The bike rides may move depending on weather and course.
GROUP SWIM
DAY: Every Monday Night
TIME: 6-7 pm
PLACE: Freeport YMCA pool May 3rd until we can go outside!
Pool fees $4 pp
GROUP RUN:
DAY: Every Tuesday Night
TIME: 6-7 pm
PLACE: World Gym, Marginal Way, Portland
DESCRIPTION:
Anyone participating in the Tri For A CURE triathlon as the swim, bike or run leg in a relay, come join us!
Anyone who just wants to learn how to swim, bike or run better and is looking to meet people with similar interests, come join us!
These are 16 week training programs designed to enable you to complete your portion of the course comfortably and feel great ! Each discipline will have a weekly group work out and receive a weekly / monthly work out to do on your own. (Optional cross training days are built in to the schedule.) This is a great way to meet other sheJAMs members who are interested in swimming, biking and / or running. You can even create your own work out groups!
