sheJAMs Pool Time

Posted by andreab On April - 6 - 2010ADD COMMENTS

We have reserved the South Portland Community Pool every Thursday  from 4pm to 5pm for lane swimming.  This time slot is a sheJAMs hour for all our members and guests of members.  The pool will be closed to the general public.

There are 6 lanes it is a pay as you go:  $4 non residents, $3 residents.    This is not a coached time period.  For those of you in the TFAC training program it would be a great time to practice and work together on your stroke and endurance.

I will add that the Pool Supervisor was a swim coach for CMA and it was the lifeguards here who took me from not being able to swim 1 lap 3 years ago, to swimming Peaks to Portland last year! – Andrea

We will assess at the end of May if there is enough interest to keep the time slot.

Hope to see you there!
